Vezelay is a remarkable world heritage site, one of humanity’s gems, ranked n° 2 by National Geographic Traveller. A major pilgrimage centre in the Middle Ages, at the summit of “the eternal hill” the 12th century Basilica with its exceptional architecture of light is a masterpiece of Romanesque art.
