The Symbols Room in the company of a guide
The commentaries accompanying the plan of the Basilica provide historical, technical and symbolic references.
The path of the sun, projected onto a large-scale model of the basilica, reconstructs before your eyes the trajectory of the summer and winter solstices. Each cosmic event has its own signicance.
We can decipher the symbolic meaning behind the sculpted images, the capitals, thanks to faithfully reproduced models.
